Angel in a ball of threads. Magnificent Angel In A Glass Ball

Many years ago I made this angel in a glass ball, and the master class can only be completed now
But it seems to me that this is information that will not lose its value over time. So everyone who wants to know my terrible secret, look here:

1. First you need to make a wire man with a bead head. Don't forget the halo ring.
For my ball (6cm) I made a little man about 3.5cm long.
Next, the head, arms and legs should be covered with several layers of flesh-colored acrylic (white + ocher + red).

2. For the garment you need a strip of crepe paper about 15-17cm long and 3-3.5cm wide.
One edge of it is painted with gold acrylic using a brush. When it has dried, I carefully apply PVA glue along the end of the paper and dip it in the smallest gold glitter.
From the finished paper strip I cut off about 1.5-2cm for each sleeve and about 9-12cm for the dress.
The halo is covered with the same sparkles.

3. Determine the desired length of the sleeves, attaching to the wire foot, cut off the excess. Then I glue the sleeves along.
When they are dry, they need to be gathered, put on a little man's foot, smeared with glue at the base and pressed until the glue seizes (it may be easier to do this with tweezers).

4. The required length of the dress is determined in the same way, the excess is cut off, then it is necessary to glue the strip into a ring in the same way as the sleeves. I make two cuts where the sleeves will be (in the photo it is clear where these places are). The blank of the dress is put on the figure, but first you need to glue it only in the meta of the cuts - where the legs are.

5. This is how it will look:

6. When dry, a small amount of glue attaches the dress to the calf, while it is necessary to form small folds. In these folds, you need to hide the main seam, and also lay them along the sleeves, if there are visible traces of cuts and gluing. To keep all this, I tightly tie it with wire until the glue is completely dry.

7. I remove the wire. If there are pieces of glue or the like sticking out somewhere, they can be removed with a razor or sharp knife.
I bandage the angel with a thread / fishing line - it is needed to attach the wings and to hang the angel in a ball. The ends of the thread should be 15-20cm long to make it easier to work with them.

8. The bead head is covered with large gold glitter.

9. On a piece of paper folded in half, I drew wings, then, attaching them to the angel, it is necessary to clarify the contours and draw a clean copy.

10. On top of a piece of paper with a ready-made drawing of the wings I put an organza.
A wire about 10 cm long should be folded in half and made a small loop in the middle. Then straighten it, following the outer contours of the wings, the loop should be in the middle, as shown in the photo.

11. The wire along the outer edge of the pattern is glued with "Moment Crystal" glue.
Then the drawing is drawn with a white outline, you can also sprinkle it with sequins - first from one side, and then on the other side of the fabric. When everything is dry, you can cut the wings along the line paint.

12. Sew the wings with a thread tying the angel through a wire loop, making several knots and fixing them with glue. Then cut off one end of the thread.
To be sure, you can drop some glue on the joint before sewing on the wings.

13. Finished sewn-on wings:

14. I cut out a quarter of a circle from dense foil (about 0.8 cm in radius).
Using a toothpick, I twisted the workpiece so that I got an even narrow cone.
Since I did not have gold foil, I additionally covered it with gold leaf, but this is already a production cost.

15. The bugle is glued to the angel's legs with small drops of super glue or any other. All is ready.

You can already rejoice at the result of your labors:

16. Now the most terrible and important moment: the magnificent clothes of the angel must be folded, the wings must be rolled up, the legs with the pipe must be raised up and in this position the poor winged creature must be shoved into the ball.

17. Using tweezers, carefully unfold the wings, put your hands in a normal position.

18. With toothpicks or with the same tweezers, open the hem, fix other little things.
After that, it is useful to turn the ball over and shake out the excess glitter.

19. Now you can put a hat on the ball. I don't like ordinary Christmas ball hats, because their attachments take up too much space, which is useless in this case. Therefore, I used a bead hat (first completely flattened it, and then gave it the desired shape), which I glued to the ball itself, after passing a pin (pin) of golden wire through it. From this pin, you need to make a loop for hanging the ball, and around its base, fasten with several knots a thread that fixes the angel at the desired height.

20. Now everything is ready:

Paper angel with organza wings, height about 40-45 mm (I forgot to measure) in a 60mm ball.
In fact, one of a series of "filled" transparent balloons ...

Notes:
1. Work with clean hands and clean tools. Thin medical gloves can be used, which in principle is useful for miniature work with white materials.
2. The less glue, the cleaner. Apply glue with a toothpick or needle.
3. You may have noticed a rather complex system of making and attaching the wings. If you are planning to put your angel in a ball, you should not philosophize so. It will definitely be enough to simply glue these wings.
But if you want to make it an independent toy, then it is better to heed my advice regarding the wire loop and sewing the wings with thread. The loop allows you to adjust the position of the wings relative to the carcass, because located on the back of the angel, and the sewn wings will definitely not fall off.

I love working with threads most of all, they are the most malleable and versatile material for crafts. Once I tried to make a ball out of threads and it worked out pretty well. Then the question of its filling arose. You can make a spring composition by placing original flowers in the middle in the technique. Another option is to complement the ball with a white angel made of threads. I bring to your attention these beautiful decorative ornaments.

For work, you should prepare the following components:
- medium-sized balloon;
- a tube of PVA glue;
- flat plate for glue;
- scissors;
- threads for knitting in bright colors.

First, I'll show you how to make a ball out of threads. Take a balloon and inflate it, remember to tie it tightly so it doesn't blow out unexpectedly. Pour PVA glue into a flat plate, dilute it a little with water.

Choose the brightest and most beautiful thread (in the photo it is dark lilac), begin to gradually immerse it in the glue and gently wind it around the ball. Try to keep the thread completely saturated with glue. You need to wind so many threads on the base so that the balloon can be seen in some places. Once you've finished winding the threads, cut off the end and secure it against the ponytail. Once again, grease the entire surface of the base with a generous layer of PVA glue.

Put the finished base on a plastic bag and place the ball near a warm battery overnight.
When the threads are completely dry of the glue, remove the rubber ball. To do this, simply cut off the tail.

Now you need to cut a hole in the foreground. This can be 1/4 of the total volume of the product.

If you decide to place a spring composition in a ball, then take bright flowers made using the quilling technique. And insert them as shown in the photo. Do not forget to glue a beautiful braid in the form of delicate flowers around the perimeter of the cut edge.

If you want to decorate the ball with an angel figurine, then at this stage I will tell you the process of making it.
So, take a white knitting thread and wind it in a circle around any sturdy base. 40-45 turns of thread will be enough. It turns out a workpiece with a length of 18 cm.

Cut the threads at one end using a utility knife. Tie the sections in the middle with a thread.

Separate the pupa's head and tie it up.

Make a second skein of threads. To do this, take a 10 cm wide base and wind the thread about 20 times. This time there is no need to cut, it is just important to carefully remove the threads from the warp. It turns out the wings of an angel.

During the New Year holidays, very often the whole family thinks about what to do. The days go by very slowly, especially if everyone likes to stay at home and not engage in outdoor activities. It is for creative people that we offer several interesting master classes on how to make Christmas crafts with your own hands.

There are many ways to make Christmas angels. There is an option for making crafts from fabric and cardboard. After making, the figurine can be used as decoration for the interior of an apartment or hung on a Christmas tree.

Craft materials:

  • Glue.
  • Yarn for knitting in a yellow shade.
  • The material is white with a dense texture.
  • Cardboard sheets in gold and pale pink colors.
  • Thick paper is white.
  • One thread from the serpentine rain.
  • Scissors.
  • Compass.

Having prepared all the materials, you can get to work:

That's all - a wonderful toy for a Christmas tree is ready, you can decorate a festive beauty with it. On Christmas Eve, many of these handicrafts can be found in all parts of the world.

The angel will be in the ball... You can even send such a craft to the competition. If it does not take first place, it will still become the main star of this event.

Materials:

Having prepared the materials, we begin work on the craft:

Here's a composition with a Christmas hint we got. If you think that the ball is deformed, then pass additional wire into the paper tube. You can even give such a charming craft as a gift..

To create such an unusual craft for Christmas with your own hands, you do not need a lot of time and imagination. Yes, and special skills for needlework are also not needed. You just need to follow the step-by-step instructions..

Materials:

  1. Take a bandage, its width should be 14 cm. Fold in half and cut off a square.
  2. Dissolve coffee in a small amount of warm water and dip a piece of bandage into it.
  3. We are waiting for full impregnation and take out, lay out and dry.
  4. Take cotton wool and roll a small lump out of it, fix the round shape with threads.
  5. On the dried bow we spread the blank of cotton wool and form an even head, wrap it with threads.
  6. We take burlap and cut out a piece of fabric from it measuring 14 × 14 cm.
  7. We fold all the threads that remain with us after cutting the fabrics and do not throw them away.
  8. Dissolve a piece of burlap on all sides by about half a centimeter. We wrap it in a triangle.
  9. We spread the blank with the head on it, so that the loose bandage fabric is in the middle of the burlap.
  10. We wrap the burlap around the bandage. You should end up with a nice fringed dress on the bottom. We fasten the burlap on top using the threads left after the fabric was dissolved.
  11. If the burlap starts to puff up from below, fix it with glue.
  12. We close all the fastening threads on the dress at the neck with a small piece of lace.
  13. From above on the head we glue the thread with a loop in order to hang the angel after manufacturing.
  14. Now you need to make the angel a hairstyle, for this we take the threads for knitting to match the burlap and glue them to the head. After they are collected, we attach them to the head.
  15. We weave a wreath from jute threads. We glue it on the head on top of the hair.
  16. It's time to make wings for an angel. Fold the jute threads in half and tie a bow out of neither. We glue it on the back.
  17. Next, we begin to decorate the angel's dress as you like: you can use rhinestones, sequins, laying out any pattern with them.

You can hang such a burlap angel anywhere - on the tree or in the room, decorate the window with them.

Button wreath

The theme of Christmas is very sensitive for many people. In many countries, this holiday is met and expected even more than the New Year. On this day, the birth of Jesus Christ took place. We looked at different options for creating angels for home decoration, and now we will try to make a Christmas wreath.

Materials:

  • Buttons are flat, of different colors and diameters.
  • Corrugated cardboard.
  • Scissors.
  • PVA glue.
  • Wrapping paper with Christmas motives.
  • Lace on the ribbon.

It is worth noting that instead of buttons for making Christmas wreaths, you can take many other materials, and the gluing algorithm will be the same for everyone. For example, try taking:

And this is not a complete list of materials that can be used. It is always very interesting and touching to make such crafts before the holidays, and you always want everyone to be surprised at your skill and talent, and detailed master classes will help with this.
