Bell made of newspaper tubes. Master Class

This bell will be a great gift for students and teachers. But it can also be a great decoration for your home. It is very easy to manufacture.

For manufacturing we need:
- newspaper or magazine.
- PVA glue.
- knitting needle.
- spray paint of gold color.
- white bow.
- universal glue "Titan".
Let's get to work. We take a magazine and cut it into strips measuring 45x10 cm.

Now we begin to twist the strip into a tube. We put it on the lower right corner and fold it tightly. When the entire strip has been rolled up, coat the upper left corner with PVA glue.

Here we have such a tube.

We immediately prepare how many tubes so as not to interrupt the weaving of the bell by twisting the missing tubes.

We begin to weave a bell. For this we take 6 tubes. And we put them cross by cross in 3 pieces.

Take two tubes and connect them together. Then we bend from just above the middle. These will be the working tubes with which we will weave the bell.

We take a working tube and put it on a cross made of tubes. So that the tubes are clamped between the working tubes.

Since the working tube has two ends, we fold the first one forward by a row of tubes, and the second we start behind it.

Then we go to the third side of the cross and fold the second tube and put it on top of the row, and put the first one on it.

We also cross the working tubes on the fourth side of the cross.

When we fixed all sides of the cross, then we got the base. And now, when the base is ready, we proceed to braiding each tube separately. In the same way, crossing the tubes, we braid each main one.

So we weave a full row.

We also weave the next rows, but we bend the main tubes so that the weaving turns out to be of the correct shape, a bell. We will get the shape of a volumetric oval.

We weave 17 more rows.

Gradually remove the ends of the main tubes so that the edges of the weaving are wider than the middle of the bell.

The main bell is ready. Weaving is over.

Now we fix the ends of the main tubes. We weave them into the base.

Now we start weaving the bell tongue. We take three tubes. Clamp the ends on one side and start to weave.

Put the first tube on the second. Second to third. And the third to the first. So we continue to weave.

How to make a bell from newspaper tubes

To make a bell, you need a newspaper, glue, paint, and a desire to create. Twist the tubes from the newspaper strips.
