For Valentine's Day, I still have in store for you an unusual recipe for a delicious dessert. We have already compiled and even learned how to do it.

Well, today we combine both. Because dessert is a dish and a valentine at the same time. We will bake cookies in the form of cute, pink hearts. They are so delicious, so tender. Your significant other will be happily surprised and melt into their feelings for you. I guarantee!

For the dish, we will need heart-shaped molds. You can take a variety of sizes.

Valentine's Day Cookies: Step by Step

We need:

• Wheat flour - 600 grams;
• Baking powder - 1 tbsp. spoon;
• Salt - 1 pinch;
• Sugar - 250 grams;
• Egg - 2 pieces;
• Sour cream - 100 grams;
• Vanilla extract - 1-2 drops;
• Butter - 100 grams;
• Milk - 50 milliliters;
• Food coloring - 2-3 drops.

Preparation:

We start making delicious dough.

1.To knead it, take a deep bowl. Pour wheat flour, salt, and baking powder into it. We stir everything with a spatula so that the ingredients are mixed.

Sift the wheat flour a couple of times. It is saturated with oxygen. The dough will be airy and tender.

2. We get 100 grams of softened butter. Beat it with a mixer with granulated sugar until smooth in a separate bowl.

3. Break the egg into it and drip the vanilla extract into it. Just a couple of drops are enough. The main thing is not to overdo it. Continuing to beat, pour all the sour cream.

4.Add the mass to the bowl with flour and baking powder. Knead the dough. When it becomes difficult to knead, transfer the mass to a clean, dry table. Dust a little with flour and continue to mix the mass into a good shortbread dough.

5.Wrap the finished shortbread dough with cling film and send it to rest in the refrigerator for half an hour. From the cold, it will become more uniform, resilient and elastic.

6. Preheat the oven to 180-200 ° С.

7. We take out the dough from the refrigerator and from the cling film. Once or twice, remember and roll out a pancake no more than 3-4 mm thick on the working surface. We take the molds and squeeze out the hearts.

8. Roll out the layers several times until all the dough is gone for cookies.

9. Put the cookies in the shape of a heart on a baking sheet, and place in the oven for 10-15 minutes at a temperature of 200 ° C degrees.

10.You can grease the baking sheet with a little oil. Alternatively, the products can be placed on a silicone baking mat. These rugs do not need to be oiled in advance. They are very handy in this situation.

While the cookies are baking, we make the icing.

11. Whisk in 50 grams of butter with sugar. Pour milk and food coloring into it. Any food coloring can be taken: pink, red, blue and even greenish.

12. We take out the finished ruddy cookies from the oven. We give it a little time to cool down. Apply a thick glaze with a spoon with sweeping movements.
